Dr. Tanda Lane is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia, where she graduated at the top of her class. She stayed in Augusta to complete her internship in General Surgery where she was awarded intern of the year (in General Surgery). She subsequently completed her dermatology residency at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lane remains on clinical faculty at Emory University School of Medicine and attends a monthly clinic. She enjoys working with residents and medical students.
She is active in the academic community with multiple scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals in addition to participation in clinical trials and studies.
