The Fraxel re:pair laser's microscopic spot delivery creates mulitiple small columns of skin that are ablated up to a depth of 1.6 mm. Up to 6 grams of tissue are removed in an average treatment, more than 85% of which is dermal (deeper) tissue. This precise tissue targeting and intentional tissue sparing dramatically reduces healing time and post-operative wound care.
